Do We All Go Hell For Leather Then?

Looking at fb pics it seems a lot of us doodle owners go for a certain type of sofa? leather anyone? Dark brown, like ours, seems to be the most popular so what do you have and if leather was it chosen because of the Doods as it is so easy maintenance?

We had a lovely bright yellow leather suite, until harvey and blaze scratched it to bits. Not one to learn a lesson, we then got a lovely brown leather suite, harvey and blaze, then willow and blaze made a right mess of it. Having learned the expensive way, we have since bought a cream leather suite. We told them not to go on it, so far ( about 6 months), they have not got on it. They just seemed to accept they are not allowed on it. We both miss having the dogs up for a fuss n cuddle but sometimes common sense does win over your heart. Not often tho.........lol.

i Would say from personal experience leather all the way Kevin!  At least you can cover it up with a throw.  Leather is good to keep clean and maintain

We have had ours for almost 10 years now and it's been brilliant.  We got it from Barker and Stonehouse and it is still going strong.   When the doods scratch it we just wipe them away (not the doods the scratches) I think its a certain kind of leather?  The three seater which George uses is started to show a little bit of wear but still....I would hate to part with it now

Ours are from DFS, 4 years old and take a heck of a lot of punishment. Neither sofa is damaged and yep scratch marks do just wipe away. Thankfully so far no claws have punctured them
